Strych9 returns to the 18b Arts District to leave a canvas with the message "EVERYBODY LIES" affixed to the Coolidge wall. A brightly colored image of NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, who made a number of inaccurate statements about his own role in events he reported over the years. This multilayered stencil looks a little loose and the white looks like its been sprayed just a little too close, but these little "mistakes" kinda make this piece. The accidental black and yellow overspray somehow elevates this piece to the next level for us, kinda cool. 

Mystery Solved

We've been seeing this face on art around town but didn't know the artist responsible. Well now we know its Las Vegas artist Dekoe Jones with one of his multiple tiled images, surrounded by tags and stickers from different artists. Dekoe1 has been a prominent fixture on the Vegas art scene for awhile now, always using different techniques and mediums on walls and galleries alike. This time, tiling 9 images to make a larger piece on this Casino Drive wall.

Call Me

We spotted another piece from the same artist that we covered in this previous post. We still don't know the name of the artist but its obvious it's the same person with those crazy alternating inverting lines. Is this a new piece or is this from their previous mission months ago and we are just now discovering it?.. Hmm, well anyway now we've spotted it, liked it and its located at Boulder Hwy and Russel Rd.

Blue in the Face

OverUnder brings us one of his hand painted pieces all the way from Reno to Las Vegas. This black spray paint on blue paper design is on outskirts of the 18b Arts District, on the abandoned apartment complex on Casino and Utah. A rather laid back looking fellow wearing a NV hat with an unreadable quote written across the face in grey, while the wood from the building seems to be having an acid trip while psychedelically bending around to come back inside it self, quite the selection of metaphors and it works well! Great piece, keep em coming people!   

We Don't Need Their Scum

Boba Fett has landed in the 18b Arts District, sorta. We found these pair of woodblock prints glued to the wall with the quote " I bow to no one and give service only for cause" from everyone's favorite Star Wars bounty hunter. These images printed using a bright swirl of colors against a contrasting background on what looks like t-shirt fabric, which makes us very interested in how these are gonna look after few months of the sun and elements. Not sure of the artist, but its signed with the "Fett Up" phrase. Found riding below Teacher's David Blaine stencil piece, still riding, still looking great and still impressively untouched 6 months later! 

Cloudy Collab

Milk the Bunny returns with a whole slew of new collab pieces with Danman, in fact so many that we aren't exactly sure where this piece was located! Oops, our bad! Well anyway, this piece has a bright yellow sun at its center with Danman and MTB's characters both in view. Floating clouds. swirls and both artists' hashtags for easy identification. Just one of their fun collab images around town, keep an eye out for em!!

Alley Alarm

Be it pools of piss, piles of excrement or be it art, there is always something new to see in the back alley behind the Beauty Bar. This latest trip down the alley we spotted this new paster over a few tags from Unsnooze, a digital print of an alarm clock logo over of a photo of the Las Vegas landscape. We aren't sure if this is from an artist, an artist collective or just another street brand passing though. But hey, nice colorful image!
