The Doctor Will See You Now

New poster sized image in the 18b of a vampiric looking doctor demanding you to "Give Blood".
Taking a positive message like giving blood and making it seem like a demand is pretty interesting,
this piece is reminiscent of an old black and white B-movie poster with the scary doctor and taunting text.
Not sure what their angle is with this image nor their message, but at least its interesting. Artist unknown.

3 Baaad Sheep & 2 Ladders

On first glance we thought this was some art installation when we came across these two ladders
and two affixed canvases in the 18b. Nope, they were just free ladders for anyone that wanted them.
I actually used them to grab photos of these colorful 3 Baaad Sheep pieces, nice!

What Doesn't Kill You...

The side wall of the Western Hotel on Fremont and 9th, someone has left us a message.
"What doesn't kill you makes you suffer a while longer". Since this is also behind a bus stop,
I'm thinking its about suffering waiting for the bus in the Vegas summer heat. Artist unknown.

The Face of Osirus

Osiris is typically thought of to be male, could this be a reimagining of the Egyptian god as female?
More than likely the answer is no, its just a collection of tags and stickers joined by this hand painted face on some old schematics. Found on Fremont Street, artist unknown.

The Other Side

Here we are back on Boulder & 1st on the other side of the telephone pole and our last post.
We found this colorful collage from AVPH of a naked woman reading a book with a tattoo that reads "Dare U",
joined by a multitude of disconnected images that somehow make sense when joined together.

Try To Understand

This telephone pole at Boulder & 1st in the 18b Arts District is always changing and evolving,  artists from outta town and local artists alike make sure to hit this spot. The members of 3 Baaad Sheep have been keeping this spot active as of late, this time with a collage piece reading, "Try to understand something greater than yourself & you just might see yourself."

Snail Tagging

C.J. the Kid goes low on this door in the 18b,
joined by Wenks who just couldn't let that damn snail grab all the spotlight!

Blue Boy

This large hand painted sticker was spotted on a storefront window on Charleston in the 18b Arts District.
It features an alien/monster-esque creature looking up to the heavens, more than likely wondering where the rest of his genitalia went...

Color Mage

Hand painted MAGE sticker on Casino Drive with bright splattered letters.
We appreciate the choice of colors used, we could see it from halfway down the street!

You Didn't See Anything

This latest paster seen in the Arts District features what looks like a late 19th century photo of a woman with the upper features of her face smudged out with banners in delicate black lines which read "If You See Something" "No You Didn't". The juxtaposition of the black and white photo, featuring layers of grey and the stark but delicate black line work of the banners makes this piece complex and exciting.

We like this ones location, across a lazy grey buff background.

Keep Your Eyes Out Around Town!

You Killed Me First has been working on a new street art project using found beer and wine bottles,
which have been reappropriated with his own text, and then left in spots around Las Vegas.
Each bottle has a statement on the front, challenging the viewer to question if this is one of the many
abandoned bottles left on the streets by littering drinkers, or if this is actually a work of art. We vote for the latter.

Indulge Yourself, Get Up!

Someone is getting up, way up in the 18b. These pieces were drilled to a telephone pole in the Arts District.
Oh don't mind me, I'm, just walking with a ladder and a drill to put up art... Nice!

Better Get Your Money Right

Los Angeles artist Sand One gets up downtown with a sticker of one of her newest characters, Stacks!
We are so used to seeing her amazing and colorful large graffiti pieces across walls,
it is quite a change to see it on a small sticker. Her artwork translates great large or small!
