The Grim Ripper

New digital print piece found on the side-door of the old Western Hotel on Fremont,
the Grim Reaper riding a skateboard with an abstract face and ever present scythe in hand.
The face is almost reminiscent of an plague doctors masks, kinda makes this artist unknown
piece a little more poignant with current events. Joined by tags and a Ray Moore sticker.

Alley Oops

We discovered someone in the alley behind Velveteen Rabbit having a bit of a break this weekend.
Tucked away from prying eyes and the graffiti, we have a hooded hipster kid relieving himself.
The amount of stained piss on the ground makes this piece work extremely well with its surroundings,
but it almost comes off like more of an instructional manual than artwork. Artist unknown.

Closer To Commonwealth

A closer look at the sticker door installation behind Commonwealth, a 228 postal slap with a printed image from the 1986 film, Stand By Me. It features a young Kiefer Sutherland and an alive River Phoenix. The random movie still stands out among the boldly colored and ripped up stickers from Gumpus, Hesher Park and others surrounding it.

Stuck Off Fremont

Always something new on We Are Zombies' sticker door install on the side of Commonwealth downtown.
Las Vegas artist Gumpus takes control of the corner while layers of stickers and pasters peel away in the surrounding area.

Around The Block

Spotted in the 18b Arts District, a tag, a slap and a little painted block. I am unsure who decided to claim this spot down low first, but a tiny hand painted block sits glued to the ground beneath a fading hand drawn sticker NEKO and the tag above reading OTR.

We Are All Simpson?

We've spotting a few of these "We Are All Simpson 32" stenciled pieces around lately.
I'm not entirety sure who is making these or what the connection between ourself and O.J. Simpson is.
Maybe we've simply missed the point to this piece about a faded star past his glory, perhaps that IS the point.
Artist unknown.

Lady Fremont

This is the second hand painted piece on Fremont, featuring a woman's face on old news paper.
The image is simplistic, painted in only black with the image shape hugging the shape of her face.
Joined by a multi-language sticker from Raw Linen on the corner of Fremont and 8th Street.

Window Shopping

The members of 3 Baaad Sheep have the 18b on lock with their different pieces and art,
we can always find some new pieces from them almost every time we visit. Like this new piece of a pink,
one eyed fella with antlers doing a little window shopping. Well actually it said "window shoping" but they fixed it before pasting, classic! Pay no attention to that persons reflection cuz we don't even know who that is.

Keep Your Eyes Out Around Town!

You Killed Me First has been working on a new street art project using found beer and wine bottles,
which have been reappropriated with his own text, and then left in spots around Las Vegas.
Each bottle has a statement on the front, challenging the viewer to question if this is one of the many
abandoned bottles left on the streets by littering drinkers, or if this is actually a work of art. We vote for the latter.

Indulge Yourself, Get Up!

Someone is getting up, way up in the 18b. These pieces were drilled to a telephone pole in the Arts District.
Oh don't mind me, I'm, just walking with a ladder and a drill to put up art... Nice!

C.J. Phone Home

C.J. The Kid gets up with his trademark snail image on a... Dare I say it?...
An actual working payphone downtown?! Not used to seeing those, nice! lol

Beat Up in the Alley

We really enjoy the look of how an image gets more and more distressed during its lifespan,
like this beat up little guy in the alley off Fremont apparently having some phone issues. Artist unknown.

Take Some Pride

We found this amazing series of painted electrical boxes re-envisioned as television sets from different eras.
Images of classic talk and family shows joined by a great classic horror image really makes you feel nostalgic.
What a great find just waiting to be discovered at Eastern and Desert Inn.

Get Up & Go!

Civilian, DOPL, Crudz Eleven and others get up in the KISS mini-golf bathroom of all places!
Hey, when ya gotta go, ya gotta get up! The blue lighting in the bathroom makes the red ink on these really pop.
