Messages

A group of artwork has been collecting on the Coolidge building on an old electrical box for some time,
different artists all with different styles and message. Be it advertising their logo like Official Genius or entertaining us with a little cartoon like Art Night LV. But whats the deal with those vaguely racist cartoon images? We like the juxtaposition between the black & white faces pasted next to each other, but we can't help wonder if someone is trying to make some sort of point. Hmmm... You decide!

Found Sheeep

Ah ha, we've found out who has been leaving the We Are Simpson pieces around the 18b.
Its none other than Alexander P. Huerta of 3 Baaad Sheep behind all these colorful pieces.
He will be displaying selected pieces from this series of artwork Saturday at Jana's RedRoom in the 18b.
Located in the Arts Factory at 107 E. Charleston, Suite 160, Las Vegas NV 89104.
For more artist details and information please visit Jana's RedRoom.

Window Shopping

The members of 3 Baaad Sheep have the 18b on lock with their different pieces and art,
we can always find some new pieces from them almost every time we visit. Like this new piece of a pink,
one eyed fella with antlers doing a little window shopping. Well actually it said "window shoping" but they fixed it before pasting, classic! Pay no attention to that persons reflection cuz we don't even know who that is.

3 Baaad Sheep & 2 Ladders

On first glance we thought this was some art installation when we came across these two ladders
and two affixed canvases in the 18b. Nope, they were just free ladders for anyone that wanted them.
I actually used them to grab photos of these colorful 3 Baaad Sheep pieces, nice!

Try To Understand

This telephone pole at Boulder & 1st in the 18b Arts District is always changing and evolving,  artists from outta town and local artists alike make sure to hit this spot. The members of 3 Baaad Sheep have been keeping this spot active as of late, this time with a collage piece reading, "Try to understand something greater than yourself & you just might see yourself."

Self-ID: Green

One of the members of 3 Baaad Sheep gets up with a collagesque painted green face in the 18b,
with the added & edited text... "24, Haleiwa, Hawaii Self-ID white Census boxes checked: white/Filipino"
Interesting.

Corner Roll Call

The sticker roll call on the corner of Charleston and South Main is growing larger each new day, dig it!
So many artists, tags and company stickers that I'm not even gonna try to name em all.

Blue in the Face

One of the members of 3 Baaad Sheep get up with a handpainted sticker on Charleston & Main,
looks like someone added some pink eyes and one got smudged. I kinda like it though!

Sheep Crossing

3 Baaad Sheep get up in the 18b while posing a good question with their piece, asking...
"If you don't know you're a sheep, how can you be baaad?" Push button for the answer...

Dear City

A letter written to the city of Vegas on a buffed pole in the 18b with the text.
"Dear city, may ur souls be as gray as ur paint". Believe this is a 3 Baaad Sheep piece, kudos!
