Little Chick

Little Chick 228 from 3 Baaad Sheep and A's Up Beeshhh sticker up together in the 18b.

Behind the Fence

Behind this fence lurks a variety of stickers. Some of the stickers with tags on them say "Aloha my name is ..." representing our Hawaiian community, I believe. Others are Aware, Cult Doom, OYE, and more.

Stencil Eye

Single stencil eyes have been spotted in different spots around the 18b Arts District.
This one bleeds down almost looking like black tears which fall into the rusted grate below. Great placement!

Dream Catcher

Another couple small pasters by Lunaart/Solart floating in the Arts District.
One is a Dream Catcher with a center of orange from Lunaart and the other small one features the signature hand-drawn face which says classic above it, by Solart.

We always seem to spot these two together.

DOPL on the Brain

A circular brain-esque sticker hovers under the sticker tag of DOPL down near the new Downtown Container Park.
Hoping to spot some more new art in this area as the droves of people head out to this new joint!

Stuck in the 18b

Stickers and small pasters spotted down low on a telephone pole in the 18b.
Love the top sticker from The Isi Group stating what we all so strongly believe - I SUPPORT ART.
Featuring some work by Drahkula, There She Is, You Killed Me First and others.

Eyes Without a Face

Stencil work of some sultry eyes and a woman's face with only her eyes revealed.
Spotted in different areas around the Arts District and looking bold on white walls.

Sharkboy

Cute little paster up in the 18B of a grumpy looking little boy in what looks like a shark suit? Or maybe a hippo? Either way, he is dressed up and mad about it! We love finding these pasters on poles around town!

Milk The Bunny

New brightly colored piece by Milk the Bunny up in the Arts District.
This hand painted paster features great line work and looks so bold against the white brick background.

Portugal the Man

Exciting Portugal the Man pasters up in the Arts District.

Gorilla Guy

Hand drawn paster in the arts district. Looks somewhat gorilla-esque. No names or tags.

1.800.Fix.Head

Paster spotted in the 18b featuring an odd looking shaped potato-esque head.
Above it says "Are you unhappy with the shape of your head?"
Underneath it says "1-800-fix-head. By appointment only".

Haven't called yet, but I'm not to worried about the shape of my head.

Hewman Being "Ate" Your Date!

Hewman Being "Ate" Your Date! has a collage on a pole in the 18b Arts District featuring huge lips on a newsprint from a magazine.

Picture frame installation.

This small piece stood out on a pole in the arts district.

It features a collaged image framed within a pleather-esque frame with the words "is so easy" below.

It has been nailed/screwed to this pole.

Benjamin Alejandro Tag

Benjamin Alejandro, who has a show at the Amanda Harris Gallery till mid-next month gets up with a huge tag in the Arts District.

This piece features the face cut from this figure with the image of a bunny face from the underlying piece coming through.

Solart & Lunaart

Two small pasters one hash tagged Solart and the other Lunaart.
Sole art features a stylized portrait which says Dazzled and the Lunaasrt one is a little amp and speaker combo.

We were able to get some shots of him getting up midday at the 18b Arts District.

A Crowd of Small Adventures

One wall in the 18b Arts district has featured pattern pasters with owls and ant eaters which say
"A Crowd of Small Adventures", The way the pieces decay and become ripped on the wall adds to the texture of these pieces.

Rockin' out paster! Spotted around the arts district down low.
Says "Living the Dream" across the face.

Felix gets up in the arts district. This hard to find piece features a sassy looking lady sitting cross-legged low to the ground and is highlighted by the colorful mash up of tags behind it.

The stylized image takes on the texture of the bricks behind it.

Dan Meets World

What looks like a smiple "Hello My Name Is" sticker with "This Message will self destruct" written in it.

This sticker hangs out with a bunch of others including a Recycled Propaganda sticker above it.

L.A based street artist Felix (TSC) gets up in the 18b Arts District this past week!
This iconic Felix image stands out boldly along this wall that is filling up with work!

No Trespassing: D*Face

In addition to the amazing murals D*Face was able to get up with around Las Vegas, he was able to get up with a bunch of chip-like stencils around the area. This one was spotted across from Atomic Liquor.

Ana Marietta in the 18b

Ana Marietta painted a beautiful duck-like bird in the 18b Art District, somewhat removed from the other murals along the other side of this building. This piece features excellent depth and well worked color which makes it pop from its unassuming spot.

Miss Joy

A few of these bright stickers were spotted in Henderson.

18b Doors

Hand painted and collaged doors have been spotted around the 18b Arts District. Each one features bright colors, painted, splashed and dripped with images and papers added. These pieces come more and more alive the closer you get to them.

Benjamin Alejandro: The trouble is, you think you have time

Los Angeles based street artist Benjamin Alejandro opened his Las Vegas solo show at the Amanda Harris Gallery of Contemporary Art this past weekend. The show features LED lit canvas pieces, silkscreens and paintings as well as a white casket in the center space. The show, titles "The trouble is, you think you have time" will be running through January 18th.
