Behind the Fence

Behind this fence lurks a variety of stickers. Some of the stickers with tags on them say "Aloha my name is ..." representing our Hawaiian community, I believe. Others are Aware, Cult Doom, OYE, and more.

Stencil Eye

Single stencil eyes have been spotted in different spots around the 18b Arts District.
This one bleeds down almost looking like black tears which fall into the rusted grate below. Great placement!

Dream Catcher

Another couple small pasters by Lunaart/Solart floating in the Arts District.
One is a Dream Catcher with a center of orange from Lunaart and the other small one features the signature hand-drawn face which says classic above it, by Solart.

We always seem to spot these two together.

Cute little paster up in the 18B of a grumpy looking little boy in what looks like a shark suit? Or maybe a hippo? Either way, he is dressed up and mad about it! We love finding these pasters on poles around town!

Paster spotted in the 18b featuring an odd looking shaped potato-esque head.
Above it says "Are you unhappy with the shape of your head?"
Underneath it says "1-800-fix-head. By appointment only".

Haven't called yet, but I'm not to worried about the shape of my head.

These two stickers of a blue hue stand out on this yellow pole in the art dist.

Felix gets up in the arts district. This hard to find piece features a sassy looking lady sitting cross-legged low to the ground and is highlighted by the colorful mash up of tags behind it.

In addition to the amazing murals D*Face was able to get up with around Las Vegas, he was able to get up with a bunch of chip-like stencils around the area. This one was spotted across from Atomic Liquor.

Ana Marietta in the 18b

Ana Marietta painted a beautiful duck-like bird in the 18b Art District, somewhat removed from the other murals along the other side of this building. This piece features excellent depth and well worked color which makes it pop from its unassuming spot.

Hand painted and collaged doors have been spotted around the 18b Arts District. Each one features bright colors, painted, splashed and dripped with images and papers added. These pieces come more and more alive the closer you get to them.

Benjamin Alejandro: The trouble is, you think you have time

Los Angeles based street artist Benjamin Alejandro opened his Las Vegas solo show at the Amanda Harris Gallery of Contemporary Art this past weekend. The show features LED lit canvas pieces, silkscreens and paintings as well as a white casket in the center space. The show, titles "The trouble is, you think you have time" will be running through January 18th.
