Emcee Girl

Another LaRon Emcee hand painted piece spotted from his most recent run through the 18b Arts District.
A beautiful scarlet lipped woman with short black hair with his recurring iris and pupil-less eyes on the corner of Boulder and 1st. Smoke escaping her open mouth with a detailed group of people drawn next to her left eye, just springs forth a wealth of questions and possibles of who they are and what they might stand for. Great stuff!

Head In The Clouds Again

Emcee returns with some new pieces scattered around town, like this beautiful blue woman in the 18b. A wonderful hand-painted piece complete with his signature look of eyes missing their iris and pupils, which to us give his characters a mysterious and ghostly appearance of sorts. Intentional or not, its little touches like this that catch your eye and make his pieces stand out amongst the other artwork in the 18b Arts District. Great stuff!

Lunch Date

Emcee has been putting in work lately, hitting more high profile spots with larger pieces.
Like this ink and colored pencil piece, joined by a face that has been drawn in a similar style.
I'm not 100% sure if the face was drawn as an afterthought by the artist or by someone else,
but they do make quite the interesting couple! Found at the corner of Carson & 7th.

Our most recent trip into the 18b we were pretty damn happy to see a lot more artists getting up!
Like this Emcee paster we found below the tags, almost hidden from view on the underside of an bench.
