The Life Of Plur

Another female socket wrench piece found at Casino & Utah, this time with the words Plur Life.
We did a little research and found out that Plurlife is some EDM website, so is this an ad?!? Hmmm.
It is always great to see new artwork popping up around Las Vegas, although we gotta say....
Kinda bullshit when it might be corporate companies and/or corporate functions trying to build street cred.
Rave on kids, rave on....

Stuck Up

Outside Artifice in the 18b the fixtures are always changing and evolving with different stickers and slaps.
Stickers play a heavy role in Las Vegas street art, artists and now even corporate companies are fighting for space trying to establish themselves or their brand. They are everywhere!

Whip Dat Shit!

We found these three random ink drawings on our last trip down the Fremont alley.
This guy surrounded by lightning bolts and wearing an Devo Energy Dome telling us to "whip that shit!",
a sheep with a fresh pile of poop and the words "2 Butt holes" and finally someone that loves or hates sluts.
Not sure what is going on here or who the artist is, but we do know one thing....
It is always pretty damn interesting walking in this alley, that is for sure!! :)

Ah ha, we've found out who has been leaving the We Are Simpson pieces around the 18b.
Its none other than Alexander P. Huerta of 3 Baaad Sheep behind all these colorful pieces.
He will be displaying selected pieces from this series of artwork Saturday at Jana's RedRoom in the 18b.
Located in the Arts Factory at 107 E. Charleston, Suite 160, Las Vegas NV 89104.

Meet Me In The Alley

Isn't it always nice to see a friendly face on the street? Well someone has taken a black paint pen & marker
and drew a face on a meter in the alley off Fremont Street. We couldn't help but laugh and smile when we met up with them, joined by Kesoer and Aware. Artist unknown.

No You Didn't

Another beautifully aging "If You See Something, No You Didn't" paster found outside of Artifice.
We really enjoy how the more wear these pieces get, the better and more authentic they look as time passes.
Joined by a huge selection of stickers from different artists, but this piece still remains artist unknown.

Standing In The Gateway

We found this sticker on a mirrored exterior of a building on Charleston and Casino in the 18b,
when viewed a certain direction it gives the appearance of a giant and well... Less than attractive looking woman standing tall next to one of Dennis Oppenheim's brushes from his “Paintbrush Gateway”. Artist unknown.

That Hoe Over There

New wheatpaste found in the 18b of a cartoony looking female socket wrench having a drink in the sun,
with a brown landscape and sketch of a palm tree with the words "is that your T.H.O.T?!"...
Kind of a weird combo of line drawing, loose fill-in and sketchy graffiti, interesting. Artist unknown.

Roll Call On The Vegas Strip

ISB, Tanz One, PR C9B and others get stuck on a sign between Casino Royale and Harrah's on the Vegas strip, great high profile spot and ya gotta just love the "keep it organic" sticker! :) Nice!

Super Buddies

Check out these cute little guys we found at Coolidge and 1st in the 18b Arts District.
Pasters of Spiderman and Batman as toddlers done with colored markers by an unknown artist.
These little heroic buddies look great against the buff gray background and instantly put a smile on our faces.

Head In The Clouds

Our most recent trip into the 18b we were pretty damn happy to see a lot more artists getting up!
Like this Emcee paster we found below the tags, almost hidden from view on the underside of an bench.
A wonderful ink on paper image of a person that seems to be very happy to have their head in the clouds.

On The Fence

A pair of "We Are All Simpson" pieces get affixed and hung on a fence in the 18b Arts District.
Both on cut wood with a barrage of different colored spray paint and/or mixed stencils. Colorful.
