Street Science

Artist unknown paster that includes an elementary science lesson for anyone interested. "When the Sun dies there will be an immense crystal of pure carbon at the core of the white dwarf that remains". Sorta like a beautiful but scientifically correct poem on a digitally designed graphic with a constellation map. Found on Casino, interesting.

Ice Cream Party

There is a new bunny in town, well there are few of em hopping around beautifying the 18b Arts District to be exact. But this is the first piece we've seen from local artist Shye Bunnysuit with her big-eyed anime styled bunnies. A damn cute black and white paster signed in her beautiful calligraphy work. Found riding above Dan45's puzzle piece on Casino Drive, nice!

Fire Woman

A woman stares out waiting to meet your gaze from a doorway in the 18b Arts District, a striking and quite beautiful piece using nine postal slaps layered onto each other to create one large sticker. Stenciled with an image of a woman who really stands out against the background. Found on 1st Street, artist unknown.

Ordinary Conformity

Large new artist unknown wheatpaste in the 18b Arts District of a couple walking together with red censor bars over their eyes. The text on the bars is sharp and reads "Fuck Conformity, Deny Ordinary". It also makes the low resolution black & white print look pretty bad in comparison, doesn't anyone believe in continuity anymore?

Under Surveillance

A new surveillance camera looms over the 18b Arts District, well sorta... It's Zork with a new art piece. But unlike most cameras at hotspots, this one isn't recording anything. Furthermore it actually has a specific message for a certain someone. "Go Buff Yourself!" ...yeah Buffman, you get that?! I do believe Zork is talking to you!

Catcalls

Traveling to a different side of town finds stickers slammed up and down Westwood, outside the Artisan Hotel. Pizza Catface, Ravealation, Wenk, DB, Coco Jenkins are just a few with a this roll call of stickers and tags. People in this town love stickers and love getting up with them even more so!

Friday I'm In Love

Another heart balloon has been left in the 18b Arts District by the same unknown artist. Using text this time with their balloon to spell out "LOVE" and adding those strange bars again... The same number and color sequence as before... They seem to be some sort of unreadable signature, this is getting interesting.

Float The Bunny

Milk The Bunny is a strong presence on the Las Vegas street art scene and she is always hitting the streets with new pieces of art to keep her vision & voice out there. This hand painted paster of a cloud with her stylized bunny ears covered in Café Bustelo logos definitely brings more beauty & color downtown. Found floating on 10th Street between Fremont and Ogden.

Another Piece

Another Dan45 piece spotted, photographed, tagged and released back into the wild. A skillfully cut wooden puzzle piece painted bright orange with a drawing of an spray can, adding the word "Create" to finish and inspire. This is the third piece we have found in the 18b Arts District, I do believe he said there are 5 total and we are still on the lookout!

It's Getting Better

Since the early 2000s Indecline have been putting out some of the most intense and violent street skate videos, while getting up worldwide using stencils, stickers, spray paint or wheatpaste. They use it all! Here in Las Vegas, their devil horned businessman image is as familiar with locals as the lights on The Strip. Found on the Coolidge wall in the18b Arts District.

Rest Stop

Becoming increasingly spotted in numerous locations around town, newcomer Where's Warhol is getting up with images of a Chibi styled cartoon Andy Warhol. These large stickers on either side of this bench bring more color to the 18b Arts District. All the while, stake a new artistic claim to the Las Vegas streets.

Redhead

Well someone has gotta say it!.. The Coolidge wall in the 18b has been looking a little damn messy as of late and we don't mind saying so. But this new sexy redhead piece from Olsenink done in his highly stylized hand definitely does bring the quality, hopefully staving off the buffman for awhile. Hand finishing touches like the hair or better yet those damn argyle socks, are just fun and great!
